This gathering is about connection. The bonds we form with people, the places that stay with us, and the connections that shape us in ways we don’t always notice.

We’ll spend the evening together around the fire, exploring those connections through poetry, stories and Oracle cards. Some may take you back to a person or place. Others might make you think differently about a connection in your life now.

There’s nothing to prepare and no expectation to share more than you want to. Come as you are, settle in, listen, reflect and join the conversation wherever it takes us.

As always, the evening will unfold naturally. Good company, meaningful conversation and space to simply be together.

We’re shaped by connection. By the people who know us, the places where we feel we belong, and the relationships that have stayed with us long after circumstances have changed.

But connection can be easy to take for granted. Life gets busy. People drift. Places change. Sometimes we don’t realise what, or who, has mattered until we stop and think about it.

This gathering gives us that space.

To remember the connections that have shaped us. To notice the ones we have now. And perhaps to leave a little more aware of the people and places that make us feel at home.

  • Warm layers, the wood yard sits outdoors and evenings cool quickly
  • A blanket or cushion for sitting during the meditation and sharing
  • A cup if you have a favourite, otherwise cups are provided
  • Sturdy, weather-appropriate footwear

Nothing else is required. Tea and cake are provided at the close

For anyone who values connection, or feels they could use a little more of it.

You might come with a friend, or arrive knowing nobody. You might be thinking about the people and places that have shaped you, navigating a change in your life, or simply drawn to an evening that offers something different from the everyday.

You don’t need to be spiritual, know anything about Oracle cards, or have a story ready to tell. You just need to come as you are.
